Boys!

Ok. first note if you have a quesy tummy or can't handle blood, don't read this posting :D


So my kids are VERY active. they like to jump and climb. Well I was in the house and the kids were out back playing and I heard Boogies cry. Well I knew by the cry that it was a "I'm really hurt" cry....not sister is being or I didn't get my way cry! but he was really hurt.

So I put on my shoes and as I was getting the 2nd shoe on, Carolina was coming running in the house, screaming "Mom, boogies fell and he is bleeding"
So I mentally prepare myself for the worst, and start to run out the backdoor...once I round the corner I see him running towards me and he just has a little blood on his head. So I say "oh he is fine" and I get towards him and (of course now I am not mentally prepared anymore)...and when I pick him up I see a big gash and bone!!

OK now I am freakin out!!! so Carolina runs to get my cell and I am trying to call Jeff, get a towel for the blood, get the keys, get carolina all while trying to calm Boogies down (and myself)...to top it off Jeff ISN'T answering ARGH!!!!

So now I have boogies and I turn to get Carolina and she has her eyes covered, because she didn't want to see Boogies...So I am trying to carry Boogies and lead her to the truck STILL trying to reach Jeff....

So I get to the truck, CArolina won't get in..She doesn't want to see Boogies cut. still trying to calm down Boogies AND trying to convince Jeff that I am NOT overreacting!!! He is like "naomi YOU have to calm down"...So the neighbor must have noticed I was a little upset :D lol and he comes across the street and asks if I need a first aid kit, I said no I think I need more. I said but can you tell Jeff Boogies needs a ER and I am not overreacting...so he looks @ Boogies and says YES he needs an ER. SO now Jeff FINALLY realizes I am not crazy :D lol
and Carmen (the neighbor) asks if I am REALLY ok to drive....I was fine, just really ALOT @ one time....Jeff, Boogies, CArolina still doesnt' want to get in the truck.

Poor thing rode the whole way with her eyes covered!

So I am calm now and @ the ER..Boogies is calm and Carolina is still covering her eyes...LOL...even when she walked to the ER. poor thing!

So the ER visit went pretty smooth...he only cried when he felt the blood on his face once and also he cried (more like SCREAMED) when they gave him the novicane (sp?) shot! He got 6 stitches...I wasn't in there just Jeff, me and cArolina waited outside :D


SO if you are ready...here are the before and after pics (and my baby hiding from Boogies owie)......and he has a little black eye coming up too...Poor babies!!!
