its a jungle out there....

ok--so not really a jungle! this is my parents backyard

--that I mowed...well tried to mow!! I mowed the front yard and weedeater'd it!! (with my mom's help)---then I tried the backyard, until I broke the lawnmower and weedeater!!! so I had to attack the tall, tall weeds with an 'idiot stick'. man was that a workout!!!

I didn't get it all done--but some of it---mom had to hire someone to come back to finish it.

if you didn't know--my dad is sick--he has congestive heart failure and just had a defibrillator put in and I was home taking care of him for 2 weeks. my mom tries to be strong and do the things he can't anymore (like mow the grass) but she is sick as well and I just won't let her!!

Every Wednesday participants will be posting pictures of anything outdoor on their blog. It can be something outside of your home such as your porch, deck, patio, garden or lawn. Your photo can be outdoor shots of the beach, forest or mountains. (We don’t want to exclude anyone who might not have a yard). Or, you could simply post pictures of a favorite plant or flower. Only rule is it has to be outside!!

So I found some pictures of the Pioneers Day Parade in Clovis....these pictures are ones my son took...he loves the camera---and not half bad either.....

Next week I'll more pictures from my cruise with my mom!
