Another Jones Soda!!

so a couple of weeks ago, I get this envelope in the mail, from Jones Soda. If you remember one of my photos was picked (as a possibility) back in April for a bottle label. (they don't tell you if you get picked for or not, you just have to check the website, which is why I didn't know until June).
It was a picture of my daughter, here is the blog post

So as I opened the envelope I just assumed it would be labels of her picture, since it had been about 6 months or so (and Jones says they run ahead/behind? whichever).

So I thought it would be her pictures (ready for distribution). Well to my surprise it was another picture of mine on another label. This one is a picture of what I wrote in the sand in Hawaii (and text to all my friends :D)

I didn't know about this one, because there were no people in it, so they didn't need a "release". Well, I got to thinking maybe this was already printed and chosen before my daughter's picture.

So I go thru LOTS of labels on the Jones site and sure enough, there it was in the Feb. labels. So I have to find this bottle too (by the way, let me know if you see my daughter's bottle)

have you ever heard of Jones Soda

you know the little strange soda company that has very different flavors and great pictures....Well you can upload your own photos for the company to look at to use on their next bottle.

WELL I uploaded some pictures awhile back, like October 2006....and in January of this year...I got an email from Jones Soda saying one of the pictures I submitted was chosen for "more review" but I had to sign a few releases....SO i did, not thinking it would actually get chosen.....

But they tell you that they will not contact you again, if the picture was chosen you would just have to keep checking back....SO last night (or early this morning) about 2:30am I check it (I am an insomanic lately) and there it was...my picture on the April print release...I am actually not sure how long its been out.

So if you see this flavor of soda out...could you pick it up for me (as the company doesn't send you any of them)....I would love to have a few of them in my collection.....THANKS so much

By the way the picture is Carolina @ the July 4th 2006 parade....
