I am facing a Scrapbook Challenge
Any ideas?!!?!?
I was asked to put together the pages for the Divan of the Shriners. When I said yes, I hadn't seen the books I had to put them....YIKES!!!
here are my problems, the pages are 8.5x11, they go in the sticky old photo albums, there is only one picture/names per page.
Here is an example of what the previous pages look like and these are the good ones...argh!!! wish me luck :D

Wanna Cruise with me???

yeah today I met with a lady who booked the cruise I am going on in October. I wanted to look @ a scrapbooking cruise, YEP, a scrapbooking cruise.
So I picked a 5-day Mexico cruise (leaving Galveston, TX). It will have ports in Cozumel and Progreso, Yucatan. Yeah!!!
This cruise will be awesome, just a getaway from the kids/hubby...just some time to spend with friends, see Mexico and get some cropping in.
EVEN if you don't scrapbook, you can still come and join us...
The price will be very inexpensive (still waiting for the final #s) but we are looking @ $500 per person. All inclusive (meals, accommodations, shows, etc)
Since this is more of a retreat, there will not be classes and such, but maybe I can figure something out.
Anyways just thought I would put the idea in your head...for May 2010 (I know it seems far away, but money & sitter a year maybe needed :D lol)
So come and join me....

New Year's Resolutions
so I wasn't going to do resolutions this year...HA, why? because I never complete them...hell I barely get thru the week with them...BUT after reading so many on different blogs, I thought I can do this...
so I am using some of the Pink Stampers. They seem pretty easily achievable...
Also my mom bought a treadmill, so we are gonna do this journey together!!! can't wait!

My Christmas Ornament Album
So my dear friend, Faith, has done this Christmas Ornament Album and I knew I wanted to make one. WELL that was last year, that I saw the album and wanted to make one. But I put my tree up before I took a picture of each ornament (I know, duh!) so I couldn't make it last year. So the first thing I did this year (when the kids/Jeff put up the tree) was take photos of each ornament. I finally finished up my album. Its the album/paper that comes in the Memory Works Dec. kit.(plus a few other stuff) I loved all of the stuff that came in the kit. This album is a 6x6...perfect size for just one picture. I used Page Maps to help me quickly go thru it. I added the pictures this morning and I really like the way it came out. And more than enough room to add more ornaments for the years to come...
The album shows each ornament and a little about why the ornament came about.
here is my album, page by page

the food was great and the cropping area was just too much!!! and the food was great!! Oh yeah I mentioned that!!!

the only bad thing was we woke up Sunday morning to SNOW!! yuck and I had to drive the rental car back to the airport! yuck...here is our car sunday morning...
We did make it back ok...and it wasn't too bad driving in the snow, but we were so 'well' planned coming back that we had to wait 2hrs in the airport :D
