What I want for Christmas

normally, I don't anything in particular for Christmas, but this year I know what I want.

I want a Zutter!! (so mom if you are reading :D) I can't wait for Christmas :D

Vacation with mom--Day 2

we got up & took a hot shower in Gila Bend (the water was hot, AZ is not very cool)
This town was WAY small...this was about it for the town...

We were off again...we took the I-8 to San Diego...BTW never, ever take this route if you are afraid of heights...
We saw some really cool sand dunes

and is this the mexico border fence???
loved the big signs that said turn off AC, so that your car doesn't overheat....BUT for those who didn't listen, there was radiator water, every mile or so
I loved the windmills or whatever they are called!!!

The I-8 was not pleasant for me....it felt like the sides of the road were just big giant drop downs. My mom thought it was a little funny, that I was so nervous :D she was snapping pictures of me holding onto the steering wheel so tight.

I think we past thru 3, maybe 5 border patrol check points. They just waved us thru.

me & mom set out on August 1st on our drive to San Deigo, CA. She wanted to drive to 'see' things :D on the way back she was seriously rethinking that decision :D

so off we went...we took our time...



somewhere in AZ... Gallup maybe??
We stopped @ the Meteor Crater (something on my mom's 'wanna see' to do list)

it was WAY hot!!! but neat to see & cross off that to do list!!







we drove thru Sedona mountain area (by accident, I missed a turn for the highway)

the drive down Alt 45 was horrible (I don't like heights) and this was just a windy mountain..
mom got some great pictures of our drive....

Let the countdowns begin.........

I have lots of things to countdown...

One is school, just 2 more things and I am done with school for this semester (and I am VERY ready for it too) I will feel like these kids---School's out for Summer!!! yay

I also have 8 days until I am on the road to a great scrapbook retreat in Colorado--Mountain & Memories I can't wait to get some me-time and some scrapbooking done !!

I have 89 days until I set sail with my mom on a Baja Mexico Cruise--on our Cabo San Lucas port it will be my 36th birthday--awesome huh?
I have 165 days until I set sail with just my hubby on a Mexican Rivera cruise--we set sail on Jeff's birthday.


I have lots more fun things this summer planned but these are my highlights!!!

me and the hubby had a Shriner Installation on Saturday night..and I took this pic (auto timer) for my 'one picture a day for my Project 365...but I can't decide which one I like better between the two I edited.

Yeah! I Passed!

yeah, the semester is over, and I passed ALL my classes! what a semester...so VERY glad its over. I have to say 6 A's, is pretty awesome, considering I wasn't doing so well in some of them :D Lol

I also have to note that I am proud of my hubby, he came out of this semester with 2A's, 1 B & a C. very good, don'tcha think!

another Birthday post

This morning...I walked into the kitchen to find all my wonderful gift still on the table and thought I should share with everyone, what great friends I have
here is a picture of all my gifts and cards (except Alli's, her card was hiding in the gift, so her beautiful, handmade, card is with the picture of her gift, sorry Alli)

What is not pictured here is my gift from Liz...dinner/drinks. She bought me my dinner and drinks...thank you Liz....



here is the gift Alli gave me....a collection of scrapbooking stuff. some awesome paper and pebble brads from the Making Memories Noteworthy line....LOVE LOVE it.........

My friend Karen, gave me a beautiful dolphin clock. I love dolphins. Thanks Karen!
Amber gave me a great photo album (with a beautiful quote on the front, I will be using that later) and a Starbucks coffee gift card!!! thanks LOVE my coffee

Faith got me a gift card.....to my favorite place Hobby Lobby!!!

Christa got me a Wii Game for my Wii Fit....can't wait to try it out! (I have to get off this computer first:D)...thank you Christa!!!!

Angelica gave me "cake" for my birthday :D lol....well if you could smell the candle, its amazing. It seems just like bday cake....



Thanks to all of you for my gifts...but especially for being my friends and sharing my day with you.....

Happy (early) Birthday to ME!!!

I just had dinner with some of my closest friends....WHAT a great night! I have to admit I am very blessed to have some great friends in my life. They gave up their family/self time to come out and spend the evening with me! How lucky am I?!?!
they also gave me some wonderful gifts, which I love ever one of them....
