Got Rock?

So in my earlier post--I mentioned that we had recently been camping. Well on our camping trip last weekend we stopped by Soda Damn--and well I am not much of a nature girl (or hiker, or liker of small/dark spaces) so I did not climb up and see the hot spring (plus I have seen it once--) so I stayed down and took a couple of pics (on my internal memory, since I forgot the memory card lol)

After the little bit---my daughter (who loves to rock climb since she was about 4) decided she wanted to climb the side of Soda Dam---so off daddy and C went!! me and B stayed down as he isn't much of a climber.....ALL of course while Mom was down below having a mild heart attack!! "be careful-Jeff pay attention-C watch your footing-OOOKKK its really NOT funny (as they laughed @ me)" These were all things I was saying lol ok speaking loudly

She made it to the top and was very excited!!! and mom calmed down some :D

Camping!!

we have been camping 2x in the last 2 months. and both times I have had NO camera. the first time the camera was dead--the 2nd time camera was charged but no memory card!!

so all i have are my cell phone photos and they are not great.....

Camping

We went camping back in April...these pictures have been in my blog drafts waiting for me to post it....ha! its been busy...but I have no kids and well I am doing nothing else :D

so we went to Jemez--we didn't have a developed site to camp at so we found a spot in an undeveloped spot in the woods...

The kids helped gather firewood while daddy put up the tent (mommy took pictures :D)
I did help them load up on firewood--not to make so many trips :D
look at all the wood they collected :D (enough for S'mores)

After s'mores the kids & jeff went on a nature walk...I stayed back enjoyed a book and the great view of treesJeff needed more firewood, so the kids helped daddy cut up some downed trees
by sitting on the tree......

They got the branch cut up & Boogies carried it back to the firepit by himself

we went to bed....Carolina said "mom I wished we had a TV" Boogies wanted the "light on" it was "too dark"


we got up & packed up...of course Boogies had to get on the rocks
we saw some beautiful rocks on the way homewe drove 'thru' the mountains

We stopped and pulled over to see the water
