Pecan Pie, anyone?

The kids helped daddy make his homemade pecan pie. Fresh pecans too! (from my parents pecan tree)

Boogies is 3!

Today is Boogies Bday! So hard to believe he is 3! gosh it seems like just yesterday he was a sick, crying baby :D
Well on Sunday we celebrated his bday with some really great, close friends! Boogies decided on an Art Party. We had lots of things for the kids to do. They created a "masterpiece" painting (on a little 4x6 canvas) and they also made some ROCK art (they painted a rock)...WHICH they loved the most I think. Then they painted a "wall mural" They had fun!


Then it was time to sign happy birthday! and blow out the candles....


WHAT a great time...thanks to all our friends.

Mother's Day 2008

I had a nice mothers day. Nothing really too exciting this way, I did get this beautiful, handmade card from my mom on thursday...very nice start to my weekend.


and on friday, when I picked up my daughter from school. she had her mothers day gift for me....with a "happy mothers day"....

then on sunday, I got breakfast in bed (sorta, lol) and then we went to 'feed the duckies' and ride the zoo train, but the zoo train was sold out....so we just feed the duckies and went for ice cream.
the hubby then made a nice dinner and I relaxed on the couch....

it was overall a very nice mothers day for me....

Happy Easter

We had a nice and calm easter....The easter bunny came to see Carolina & Boogies and they loved finding the eggs....as a matter of fact, carolina kept wanting to go out to see if she could find anymore :D

Happy New Year!

I have been really bad about blogging, but I have had lots of company and such....JUST super busy!!!
but I have lots of resolutions ONE is to blog more :D lol
SO today is first of many blogs!!!


so here goes...me and the hubby went to some close friends last night to ring in the new year.........We had a great time....it was nice to celebrate without the babies......

Trimming the Tree

so we finally put the tree up tonight....the kids loved it, but they were not to fond of my snowman...normally it goes outside but we dont' have many visitors so I thought I would bring it in to enjoy (besides I didn't want it taken, like my scarecrows LOL)....

they LOVED the tree finished and lit up
but they didn't like the snowman too much (this is them "hiding" on the couch"here is my "fireplace mantel" (since I don't have one, I had to visualize one)and my snowmen & village

Turkey Day

Our thanksgiving was very nice and quiet....Jeff deep fried our turkey Looks yummy huh?

My mom & dad sent my kiddos their Halloween gift....a trick or treat bag FILLed with candy....LOTS of candy....
