well with the holidays and such...i am just not here :D lol

but new goals!! and one is to blog at least once per week!!

i missed it. last year I missed my blogoversary---I said NEXT year i will do something cool, etc.

WELL look!!

so what have I been doing?

well a little of that and a lot of that :D lol

well for one. I joined

Swap-bot--its alot of fun. You swap things...like my favorite to swap is postcards. you have themes (like flowers or museum PC) and then you get a list of people to send to and then people send to you!! kinda of cool--seeing things from different states or countries.

sometimes you can swap candy and candy from other countries is pretty yummy!!!

I am back!!!

ok. I know my last post said I was back...ha! how life has happened and flew by.

So today I am starting back with my blog---hope you don't get tired of me with all my posts.

I missed a day (or two)

not sure why I missed Friday...maybe I was still in a turkey induced coma...or maybe I was gonna do my Friday Fill-Ins (which I forgot)...or maybe I was just being a bum and watched movies all day.....

LOL....it was ALL 3.....I didn't do much on friday....


as for today (saturday) I went to my first ATC swap (I didn't have anything to swap) but I did learn lots and cant' wait to go back!!!

After my class i went home to get everyone ready to go to the Albuquerque Twinkle Light Parade.....more pictures to come....I might have gotten one good picture, since my friend Faith was there to teach me some pointers on nighttime picture taking :D Thanks Faith!!!
The hubby was in the parade...and he was in full make up, wig and nose....something he doesn't do when he has to drive. But we did get some looks on the way to albuquerque....not something you expect to see when you are driving :D

Randomness....

have you ever had one of those days....you know the veggie state kind of day....the kind you don't do much?

well today I did...I didn't leave my PJ's or my bedroom much either.....I did homework, watched movies, played on the computer...and played with Photoshop.

I downloaded some free photoshop actions from Totally Rad and had some fun....I think Troy is by far my fav.

and on a side note...can you send healthy thoughts for my mama...she has been in the hospital since Wednesday with pneumonia....hopefully she will get out tomorrow. We are all very sad, but she can't spend Thanksgiving with us.....and even worse....its killing me that I can't go home & take care of her (in fear that the kids might get sick)

I fell off the wagon....

well the Blog wagon. back on the 2nd of November I joined the Blog Challenge, where I would blog daily. I have been doing really good, I just forgot yesterday.

So today I have to post twice to 'catch up" I have loved this challenge, it is making me blog lots of things.....

today I am blogging halloween....This picture is a picture my dad took of the great mountains, as we were leaving the trunk or treat on Halloween night.

Boy! Have I been busy....

so this past week, me & my mom took a Carnival Cruise to Mexico...we had so much fun!!!

New Babies

over the last couple of weeks, a couple of my friends have had babies
a little girl Peyton Elyse (no photo...well none of her little face), but some soon

and a little boy, Diego Antonio

They kids were excited to hold the baby


(they didn't get to hold Peyton, I thought she was too little for them to hold, she is only 4lbs 11oucnes)

After we left the hospital, we were walking down the hallway--boogies says "mom I liked the baby, can we buy one" LOL I said no we can't...

once in the car, carolina asks "mom the other baby (we hadn't meet Peyton yet) is she a girl or boy" I said a girl...she says "mom can we name her Dora, we can have Diego & Dora"

LOL, I said no, she already has a name...

so i have been away from the blog lately--not that I don't have lots to blog about, but my computer situation sucks :D

my home computer crashed & my laptop is very slow (very, very slow)

but my mommy (she is awesome) bought me a new laptop (whoo hoo)

and so I can blog more (hell I can do lots now :D lol)--

so I will be blogging lots of stuff in the next few days...

last week, I had jeff hang some new pictures and re-hang some other ones. I had the 8x10s of all the christmas pictures printed and then I had him rearranged the others...
The big block of photos are all from 2008...on the right side will have some sort of numbers, saying "2008"
