I am facing a Scrapbook Challenge

Any ideas?!!?!?

I was asked to put together the pages for the Divan of the Shriners. When I said yes, I hadn't seen the books I had to put them....YIKES!!!

here are my problems, the pages are 8.5x11, they go in the sticky old photo albums, there is only one picture/names per page.

Here is an example of what the previous pages look like and these are the good ones...argh!!! wish me luck :D

OOOO and btw there are 14 pages and 14 books to complete. Thats 144 pages to scrapbook....

My Valentine's Day-Weekend

so as you may all know, my hubby is a clown (lol, seriously). He is Bobbers-the clown. He is a Shriner clown and this weekend fri-sun he has been at Tingley with the circus. The Shrine Circus has 8 shows this weekend. 2 on friday and 3 on sat & sun.

we didn't really couldn't celebrate the V-day together because he was there. However, me, mom and the kids were at the first show on friday night and then again on Saturday too. I also helped in the hospitality room on Saturday morning. I didn't help or go to the circus today (sunday) and I have WAY too much homework to (right after I finish this :D LOL)

Shriner Installation (take 2)

me and the hubby attended another Shriner Installation on Friday night.
This installation was for the individual unit officers. (for example, the clown unit or the pipe band)
My hubby had to go because he was installed as the treasurer of the Young Guns unit.

Which one??

me and the hubby had a Shriner Installation on Saturday night..and I took this pic (auto timer) for my 'one picture a day for my Project 365...but I can't decide which one I like better between the two I edited.

Shrine Cash Calendar

The Shrine sells Cash Calendars every year. The calendars are only $25 each but you can win $$ every day. Each day $25 is given away and on Sundays its $50. There are big cash drawings on the holidays, for example New Year's Day is $500.

We gave a calendar to a neighbor as a thank you gift and she won!

So if you need one (or two) for yourself or for a friend (maybe Christmas gifts) let us know.

Pioneer Days Parade

over the past weekend, we were in Clovis. My hubby was in his first parade as a Shriner Clown. The Shriners went to clovis for a visitation and were in the parade...Here are a few pictures of my hubby, Bobbers the Clown.

Shrine Circus

Ok, I know I am really bad about the blog thing, but damn life is busy these days!!
So backing up to Feb 8-10, my hubby was in the Shrine Circus. He is a Shriner Clown, He is Bobbers the Clown, and LOVES every bit of it. He has fishing bobbers on his shoes, hat, etc....here are few pics of the few shows we went to....however, my hubby was there for 8, yes 8 shows that weekend...(friday - 2, saturday - 3, and sundsy-3 shows)........to say the least he was exhausted!!

I got all dressed up and my hubby wore a tux...and we went to the ball @ the shrine on the 22nd of Feb...(i know, a little late in posting)....we had fun, we always do...but I was a dork and didn't take any pics of us...but I do have the pic that the fellow shirner member took (a little old man, who shakes)...so the picture isn't the greatest...but we got one (they print it right there).....

2008 Shriner Installation

On saturday my hubby escorted me to his Shriner installation of officers.....he wasn't installed but a good friend of his is now the new potentate.....it was fun and everyone was very welcoming. as I do not attend much, since I don't have a sitter, but my hubby is aide to another member who is chairman of a new unit, the 45 & younger....this is obviously for the youner members who will be responsible for a provided daycare, which will allow me (and other moms) do more......But anyhow, I thought I would share the one and only pic I got that evening

my hubby is a Shriner & a Mason. He just got home from his Ball and he now has his own Fez....I will post a picture soon. I am super proud of him....he is very happy...........

Leave it to a man..Last Minute

so my hubby is being a Mason & a Shriner....well tonight was his Shriner Ball and he officially gets his Fez (you know those cute little hats)....well he leaves it till the last minute today to tell me he needs a suit of some sort....So off we go in search of a jacket that he can wear (no alterations needed) and we can afford....well he had to be home and back out the door @ 4:30....we started looking @ 2pm.ARGH!!!! we searched and found nothing....so he was just going without a coat.....oh well right....well we get home and he asks the neighbor and lo and behold he has an ENTIRE suit, lucky huh?well all ended well, but I had a HUGE headache when we got home.............MEN!!!
