another day of posting!!!

I joined the NaBloPoMo Challenge...because I am slacking in my posting AND I am WAY behind. I have halloween, now 2 cruise vacations, dance performances + many other things to blog about.

So I am hoping this challenge helps me...

I decided to make this post a little preview of what I will be blogging about in the next month....

yesterday I went with Faith, Liz & Judy to Scraps Galore to scrapbook ALL DAY!!
me and faith were there from 9:45am till midnight! yep, all day.
sadly I only did 6 LOs! I know, crazy, but two of my LO's were a little more time consuming then I thought and of course there was shopping in the store and lunch to consider :D

I only did kits from A Page 4 All Seasons (didn't want to haul my entire scrapbook room).
I did the Halloween kit and the Jan. kit from them (yep I am in the monthly kit club Tiny Treasures).

Halloween 2008 - Updated

I am finally getting Halloween pictures posted!

Our Halloween was pretty quiet....

we (ok mostly me) carved our pumpkins.

Boogies would not put his hand in the pumpkin.  Carolina did, but said "this is gross" the whole time. LOL

Then we were off to the kid's preschool for Trunk or Treat.  Basically all the parents/staff decorate their "trunks" of their cars and the kiddos treat to each car.

Carolina handed out the candy and Boogies slept thru the entire thing.

Then we came home to go Trick or Treating, but Carolina was tired and Boogies didn't want to go.  He didn't want to wear his costume anymore.  But Carolina did go with Daddy and me and Boogies (again, mostly me) handed out candy at home

BUT Carolina came home with ALOT of candy and Boogies re-thunk the whole trick or treating thing and said he wanted to go, but didn't want to wear his costume....

So off they went again.....

What a good re-think....they both got LOTS of candy

Corrales Cornmaze & Pumpkin Patch

On Wednesday morning, we met some friends at the Corrales Wagner Cornmaze & Pumpkin Patch to do a little pumpkin picking.

While we were waiting for our friends, there is a "corn box" like a sandbox, but with corn kernels in it.  The kids loved it!

They made corn angels

They buried themselves

They got it in their pockets, in their socks even in their underwear.

Here is Boogies digging it out.

We went thur the cornmaze...we opted to take the shorter version of the cornmaze (we knew the kids wouldn't make it).  Just a note, the longer version is 2 miles and take over an hour.  The shorter version is 1 mile and take 30 or so minutes.

So here we go....

But there was SO much corn stalks, we got lost (and lost, and lost).  We took over an hour to do the short trail.  We were so lost at one point that we were no longer on "our" trail, but on the longer trail.  OOPS....we figured out why.  We were reading the map wrong :D lol

finally we made it thru and got to see the animals that were in a little petting zoo.  Then we hopped on the hayride over to the pumpkin patch.  Where the kids got to "pick" a pumpkin.

Here are so more pictures...just had to share.  My daughter has learned how to "pose".  She is now putting her hand up (I have no clue where she learns things)

So I told her "no more hands"....so they both did it!!!
