Layout Pages 1-4

I am bummed I didn't make my goal of 365 pages last year,
but this year I am shooting for it again.

I thought about lowering the number but I think I can make it this year.

Here are my first two layouts of the year.

both are kits from my new fav place A Page 4 All Seasons...
there WILL be more tomorrow (ok, maybe Sunday to upload the pics), because I am going to scrapbook all day with my friend, Faith....whoo hoo!!!

the first LO is my wedding. Yep, married nearly 7 years ago and I am barely scrapbooking the pictures. LOL but the LO I got from A Page 4 all seasons was perfect.


The 2nd LO is my favorite pictures of my kiddos from Christmas morning.
Santa brought nearly $400 worth of toys to Carolina & Boogies and the toys they loved the best was the damn $2.97 Slinky in their stockings....kids!!

My Christmas Ornament Album

So my dear friend, Faith, has done this Christmas Ornament Album and I knew I wanted to make one. WELL that was last year, that I saw the album and wanted to make one. But I put my tree up before I took a picture of each ornament (I know, duh!) so I couldn't make it last year. So the first thing I did this year (when the kids/Jeff put up the tree) was take photos of each ornament. I finally finished up my album. Its the album/paper that comes in the Memory Works Dec. kit.(plus a few other stuff) I loved all of the stuff that came in the kit. This album is a 6x6...perfect size for just one picture. I used Page Maps to help me quickly go thru it. I added the pictures this morning and I really like the way it came out. And more than enough room to add more ornaments for the years to come...
The album shows each ornament and a little about why the ornament came about.

On Christmas Eve, we made cookies for Santa. The kids love to help cook & bake, so they were very ready!!

Daddy rolled out the cookie dough

boogies ate some flour :D lol, he didn't like it much
they all made some shapes....everyone got to decorate LOTS of cookies...lots of frosting, sprinkles and lots of laughs.



Boogies did lots of eating...lol
carolina liked her gingerbread man
and da-ta, all the cookies are ready for Santa! one from everyone, daddy, carolina, boogies, grandma and even mommy.
The kids put out the cookies & milk for Santa, put on their Christmas pj's (from grammy) and called it a night...to wait for Santa.

We put up our Tree!

We were a little late in putting up the decorations this year. we put them up on Saturday, the kids were a little excited and then a lot of bored :D lol

here are the kiddos putting the tree together.....

and then hanging on their first ornaments
and then we got to hang our own stockings this year
and 1-2-3, Ta Da! the lights are on! (my kids are so dramatic)
and finally (after many attempts) we got a "good" picture of the two of them, with no arms up, tongues out, etc!
