first I have to say I am exhausted...so I might not make too much sense, so excuse my grammer and spelling :D lol
but I wanted to get some of my experiences and pictures on my blog to share with everyone....

well last tuesday the 5th..me and my mom set out on a road trip to Utah...that wasn't fun in itself. first, it was a long, long drive. and the mountains of Utah may be pretty in the daytime, but @ night and driving 'blindly' its not fun. OOO and if you throw in some rain (and more rain) its really not fun. SO our 9.5 hr trip took us nearly 12 hours, because I pulled over to sleep, becuase I was WAY tired to be a safe driver in the rain...did I mention it rained!!!

well we finally got to Utah and well i didn't exactly map out the "shopping" trip right...so we didn't hit as many scrapbooking stores as I would have liked but I still had fun.....and enjoyed the stores we did visit...Achivers, Pebbles in my Pocket, and I think another one (but can't rmember right now)

next off to provo to check into our hotel (they were nice enough to let us check in early) which I was glad, cause I was tired and wanted to shower and relax. and i knew my mom was too. and she had to work (she volunteered the entire time @ CKU)....what a trooper, that is hard work...
so she went to "work" @ like 4ish and I did nothing...until 4:30 (pre registeration).....we got a great goodie bag...and mom worked the registeration "booth" and she said there were over 450 students registered (crazy huh)....us crazy scrapbookers!!!

Then down I went to the "meet n greet, sneek peek" got to see some new product and chit-chat with some the great minds
some really great new product coming out........I did see the new Slice (making memories)...

here is a demo...if you are interested!!!
after that...we went to the 2008 Scrapbooker of the Year banquet!

there were some some great scrapbookers nominated....
there was also serving some yummy brownies and some great taffy, I guess
here are the finalists:
