Corrales Harvest Festival

This past sunday we took the kids to the Corrales Harvest Festival. We had only planned to stay maybe a couple of hours. Well 4 hours later....we were headed home, but not to say we didn't have LOTS of fun. The kids had so much fun.

They got to pet a real wolf

They got to eat all the junk food they could. They had hotdogs, nachos, funnel cakes and mom's favorite deep fried oreos...

They we walked over to an Organic Raspbery Farm. (Heidi's Raspberry Farm). We got to pick raspberries. Or eat them :D On the walk there, we saw a flock of turkeys. (Do turkeys run in flocks?)
We carried the kiddos on our shoulders. Boogies had his lemonade on his head so the "turkeys can't get it"
Then we were off to do some pickin'

The kids really enjoyed it.

Although Boogies was a little upset that Carolina's basket had more than his.
Of course, the reason why was because he would eat them just as fast as he put them in. Thats the reason why his basket was empty.

Carolina got really good at picking the "right" ones. She is showing me what a "good" one looks like. its almost purple, she says.

Then we were off to see more...from place to place we got to ride on a hay ride.
The kids brushed a little horse. The donkey on the other side of this horse, tried to eat Carolina's dress. I guess it like the flowers :D

OO but the fun was wearing them down. Doesn't he just look so tired.

but he got his energy back to do some jumping!!



And what a better way to end a great day....then to have a Dora & Nick the Phathom ice cream.
