In our case its a little different because Boogies is actually getting the same teacher Carolina already has (as Carolina has a speech development problem as Boogies, and was in the program last year). so he already knows the drill and the teachers. He also met the teachers this past week as they come to the house to "meet" the kids at the house on "their" own turf, so to speak.
I have been worried that he wasn't going to do very well @ school, because (1) he is a mommy's boy and (2) he has point blank said, he isn't going to school. HA!
well he went to see Ms. Cheryl's class a few days ago (as we were on school grounds) and he was totally ok with it. he was asking me "if this was his school" and I said, "no, next door was". You see he has two classes. Every 9 weeks he switches classes, one focuses on sounds and the other focuses on literacy (practicing sounds).....
here is a few pictures of him in his "new" classroom....he is gonna be just fine...now question is will mom???
here he is trying to find his name....(except he can't find a "B" cause they put Jeffery, she is changing it)
and of course, sister knew the ropes of the class, she just had to find her name....and this time it was easier, cause there was only one "C". Last year there were lots of Cs, Caleb, Carolina
afterwards, they played....last year this would have never happened WOW what a difference a year makes!
