CKU: Day 3 (friday)

so back to my CKU adventures....so on friday morning...I pulled myself out of bed...(barely)

even though I was extremly excited to be taking Ali Edward's Evolution's Album track class I have to be honest, I could have skipped it and been ok :D lol...BUT I am really glad I didn't...it was awesome! I was just SOO tired....

so I pulled myself out bed (my mom was already out of bed, not sure how she did it, she was up before me and worked harder then me)....

My mom got to be the TA for a great lady, Brandon Brazel from Piggy Tales (awesome, cute product also)...mom had a lot of fun in that class....

so we get to our class...and we each get a huge box full of stuff....

here we are with our box o' goodies

Ali E. gives us a little talk and overview and off to work we go...I have to say the process of "picking" photos was fun. My subject was my mom, so I got to pick photos with her and it was nice to her stories...and where her photos were from....The album is based on the beginning, the middle and the present (in a sense)...so the pictures I have are a 'working" album as my mom has to finish the journaling (so mom if you are reading, hope you are finishing it)

there are 'journaling' pockets on the left side of some of the chipboard pages

here are the pictures of her beautiful album....
here is the "beginning" of the album... her life as a child

The "middle" section....after my mom has graduated high school...

and the "present" section...as her life now....

I ended with one of her favorite photos.. and what a better way to end then a nice autographed page by Ali E. and her infamous words "capture life"....
We got our gorgerous works of creativity signed by Ali E.

I learned alot from her throughtout the weekend...she was also the keynote speaker...she talked about capturing YOU....and saying Hello Mirror...where before I would have never done this...but here goes...

hello mirror

after her great class and a little Sammy's burgers for dinner we were off for another great night of cropping....and a few photo opps under the great C K U banners....
